The NETS symposia have provided an opportunity to review the conceptual and practical designs of some of the NETS projects and to describe research that has been planned. An overriding goal was to encourage academic, non-academic and Corps participants to share and integrate knowledge on all aspects of research, design and execution. Participants were encouraged to identify and resolve conceptual, data, econometric, and computational issues in NETS-related research.
